Music Business Worldwide reports: “Stock image provider Shutterstock and AI developer OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, are extending their partnership that gives OpenAI access to Shutterstock’s content while granting Shutterstock access to OpenAI’s artificial intelligence tools. The news sent New York-headquartered Shutterstock’s shares soaring on Tuesday. SSTK closed at $53.36 on the New York Stock Exchange Tuesday afternoon, up around 9% for the day.”
