The Verge reports: “When a YouTuber hits 500,000 subscribers, the company has found that things tend to change. That half-million milestone is something of a tipping point in terms of both growth and revenue, says Bangaly Kaba, a director of product management at YouTube. “We just saw a disproportionate growth in earnings,” he says, “even though most of our creators are smaller than this size.”
