New York – Time Warner’s CNN on Wednesday released a free
application for Apple’s iPad, and also opted to remove the fee for its iPhone
app, both of which will be supported by advertising. The CNN iPhone app
previously cost $1.99, and counted some two million downloads at that price —
before it was discounted to 99 cents.
