San Francisco – Fandor on Wednesday launched its online
movie streaming service, which focuses on independent films with an initial
library of 2,500 titles. The service costs $10 per month, and can stream to TVs
via the Boxee platform; movie clips may be shared on Facebook via BlipSnips.
The company’s films have been sourced from distributors including Kino Lorber,
Cinema Guild, Flicker Alley, dGenerate Films, Typecast Releasing, Microcinema
International and Canyon Cinema.
