Austin – Streaming music service Rdio on Friday released an
API and launched an affiliate program, which will allow developers to create
applications that can search, access and play all 8 million songs in the
service’s catalog. The affiliate program will pay commissions to developers for
referring new subscribers, and for a la carte download sales.
