Port Washington, N.Y. – Netflix (NASD: NFLX) commands 61% of the total
digital movie streaming and downloading market, according to a report from
market research firm NPD Group. Netflix is trailed by Comcast, with 8% of the
market, followed by a three-way tie between DirecTV, Time Warner Cable and
Apple, which all accounted for 4% of the market in January.
