Washington – President Obama will hold an online town hall
meeting streamed live from the Silicon Valley headquarters of social network
Facebook on April 20, the White House announced.
The event, focused on the
economy, will feature questions submitted over the web and selected by
Facebook.
"The President will connect with Americans across the country to
discuss the tough choices we must all make to put our economy on a more
responsible fiscal path, while still investing in the innovation economy that makes
America more competitive," The White House said in its blog.
