First 36 Minutes of New Harry Potter Movie Leaked Online

Los Angeles – The first 36 minutes of the new Harry Potter
film has been leaked onto file-sharing networks days before the movie is slated
to premiere worldwide, TorrentFreak reported.

The leaked portion of "Harry
Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" appears to be a "partial screener"
released by Warner Bros. (NYSE: TWX)

TorrentFreak notes that last year, "Harry Potter
and the Half-Blood Prince" made the site’s  "Most Pirated Movies" list, with close to 8 million
downloads via file-sharing networks.

Microsoft: 1 Million Kinect Game Sensors Sold in 10 Days

Redmond, Wash. – Microsoft (NASD:  MSFT) announced on Tuesday that its
Kinect motion-sensing game controller for the Xbox 360 surpassed one million
units sold worldwide after ten days on sale. "We are appreciative of the
response we have seen from consumers that has culminated in sales of more than
1 million units in the first 10 days on the market for Kinect for Xbox
360," said Don Mattrick, president of the Interactive Entertainment
Business at Microsoft.

"This is a great start to the holiday season, and
we will continue to work with our retailer partners to keep pace with high
demand and deliver against our plan to sell more than 5 million Kinect sensors
worldwide by the end of this year."

Before the $150 Kinect launched,
Microsoft upped its worldwide sales forecast for the Kinect from 3 million to 5
million units.

Kinect is available in North America and Europe, and will launch
in parts of Asia on Nov. 18 and in Japan on Nov. 20.

Google 'Nexus S' Smartphone to Feature Near-Field Technology

Mountain View, Calif. – Google (NASD: GOOG) plans to release another
mobile phone, which will run the new 2.3 version of its Android operating
system set for release in coming weeks, CNET News.com reported.

Published
reports indicate the "unannounced product" that CEO Eric Schmidt
briefly displayed to attendees of the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco is the
"Nexus S," a photo of which was leaked via retailer Best Buy’s
website last week.

Google’s previous foray into smartphone sales, the Nexus
One, was shelved following lackluster sales from Google’s website and a handful
of retail partners.

Schmidt said the new device will feature a near-field
communications chip, which can be used to turn a smartphone into a credit card.

Beatles Catalog Lands on iTunes; Years of Legal Wrangling Ends

Cupertino, Calif. – Following years of legal wrangling and often-contentious
negotiations, Apple (NASD:  AAPL) on Tuesday began selling the Beatles’ catalog through its
iTunes Store. Single albums are available for purchase and
download for $12.99 each, double albums for $19.99 each and individual songs
for $1.29 each.

Through agreements with Apple Corps Ltd. and EMI, the service is
now selling 13 of the legendary band’s remastered studio albums, as well as the
two-volume “Past Masters” compilation and classic “Red” and
“Blue” collections.

In addition to the albums, iTunes also will sell a
special digital “Beatles Box Set” ($149) featuring all of the studio recordings, plus the “Live at
the Washington Coliseum, 1964” concert film, which captures the Beatles’
first U.S. concert.

“It has been a long and winding road to get
here,” said Apple CEO Steve Jobs. “Thanks to the Beatles and EMI, we
are now realizing a dream we’ve had since we launched iTunes 10 years
ago.”

Facebook Acquires Email Product, Staff From Zenbe

Palo Alto, Calif. – Three months ago, Facebook acquired intellectual
property and hired three engineers from Zenbe, the developer of a Web-based
mail and messaging service whose technology was implemented in Facebook’s new
Messages platform, announced yesterday.

Financial terms of the deal with New
York-based Zenbe, which will continue developing messaging applications as an independent
company, were not disclosed.

CNET News.com notes that Zenbe shut down its Zenbe
Mail product on Oct. 8.

Cross-Platform Publisher Good Men Media Gets $500,000

Boston – Good Men Media, a cross-platform media company that
distributes content related to the question, "What does it mean to be a
good man?" said on Tuesday that it has received $500,000 in funding.

Investors
include project founder Tom Matlack and angel investors Grant Gund, Jack
Roberts, Mick Jackson and Michael Margolis.

Boston-based Good Men Media was launched in March, after The
Good Men Project started in 2009 as a book.

The executive team includes New
York Times Magazine writer and author Benoit Denizet-Lewis and Tom Matlack,
author of the book.

"We’re creating a completely new kind of media property
that addresses a vastly underserved demographic of thoughtful, intelligent men,"
said Good Men Media CEO Lisa Hickey.

"We are doing so in a way that
embraces and leverages social media so that revenue is generated not just from
advertising, but product and affiliate sales."

Motorola Backs Advanced TV Ad Firm BlackArrow

Libertyville, Ill. – Motorola Ventures, the company’s
strategic investment arm, announced on Tuesday that it has made an investment
in advanced TV advertising firm BlackArrow, as an extension to the company’s
third round of funding.

New York-based BlackArrow offers advertising solutions
for video-on-demand, DVR, mobile devices and broadband video services.

Along
with the investment, Motorola and BlackArrow will work to develop integrated
addressable media and ad solutions for set-top boxes and mobile devices, as
well as cloud-based, hosted video service and IP video delivery.

Technorati Acquires Silicon Valley Moms Group

San Francisco – Technorati, a blog search engine and
accompanying ad network, announced on Tuesday that it has acquired Silicon
Valley Moms Group, a network of blogging mothers and women.

Financial terms of the
transaction were not disclosed.

The Silicon Valley Moms Group was founded in
2006, and has since grown to encompass more than 400 women and mom bloggers.

San Francisco-based Technorati said it acquired the company to help provide
their bloggers with an entry point to publish their content to a broader
audience.

Technorati was the fourth-largest social media property and largest
ad network on social media, reaching 170 million U.S. users in October,
according to comScore.

Comcast Xfinity TV App Streams Movies, TV to iPad

provider, on Monday released an application that allows subscribers to access
TV shows and movies on Apple’s (NASD: AAPL) iPad on-the-go. The Xfinity TV app lets users
