networking sites Facebook and Twitter from their mobile devices, with mobile
access to the sites growing 112% and 347% over the past year, respectively,
according to a new report from audience measurement firm comScore.

The study
also found that nearly a third of smartphone users accessed social networking

"Social media is a natural sweet spot for mobile since mobile devices are
at the center of how people communicate with their circle of friends,"
said Mark Donovan, comScore’s senior vice president of mobile.

  3. This is a telling fact from comScore’s study:

“Interestingly, Facebook’s mobile browser audience surpassed MySpace in February 2009, three months earlier than the Facebook audience exceeded that of MySpace on the PC-based Internet in May 2009.”

But it begs the question… who ever accessed MySpace via mobile?
