Tokyo
– Nintendo announced on Tuesday that it plans to release a version of its
popular DS handheld game system equipped with a glasses-free 3D display.
The Nintendo
3DS will be support games developed for previous versions of the device.
The company said additional details would be revealed at the
Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los
Angeles in June.
Nintendo has to date sold more than
125 million units of its DS
