– SpotCrime, the developer of an online service that maps crime incidents
worldwide, said on Monday that it has signed a major deal to deliver crime
data, including listings of local incidents and a map of that criminal activity
to DirecTV customers nationwide. The company’s service pulls incident data from
multiple sources, including state and local police departments and news
outlets.
