– The creators of the multi-billion dollar "Call of Duty" game
franchise, Jason West and Vince Zampella, announced on Monday the formation of
a new game development studio, Respawn Entertainment. The pair, who also
co-founded development studio Infinity Ward, also said they signed a publishing
and distribution deal with Electronic Arts (NASD: ERTS) for Respawn. The Call of Duty franchise has to date been published by Activision (NASD: ATVI).
