Mountain View,
Calif. – Google (NASD: GOOG) has launched a
new feature for its Google Goggles application that lets users take camera
phone photos of foreign text and receive instant translations. The application
for Android-powered handsets currently can recognize text printed in English,
Spanish, Italian, German and French, and translate into "many more
languages," the company said in a blog post.
