Calif. – The profile of Facebook
board member Jim Breyer apparently suffered a phishing attack over the weekend
that sent unauthorized messages to his 2,301 Facebook friends, PEHub.com
reported. "This was a phishing scam and Jim’s account appears to have been
compromised," Facebook spokesman Larry Yu told PEHub.com. "The issue
has since been resolved and we’re actively trying to block this activity."
