– Ticketfly, a provider of online ticketing services, has raised $3 million in
its first round of financing.

Investors included High Peaks Venture Partners, Contour
Venture Partners, The NYC Seed Fund and angel investors including Howard
Lindzon and Roger Ehrenberg.

Founded in 2008, New York-based Ticketfly provides
ticketing services to more than 50 venues and promoters, including D.C.’s 9:30
Club, Merriweather Post Pavilion, Knitting Factory Entertainment, San Francisco’s Bimbo’s 365 Club and the Troubadour in Los Angeles.

The
company’s service includes social tools that event promoters can use to build
their own websites, create Facebook events, and integrate with Twitter.

Ticketfly said it is on track to sell one million tickets in its first year of
operations.
