Los Angeles
– A Swedish court has ordered Internet service provider Portlane to identify
the operator of OpenBitTorrent, which in the wake of The Pirate Bay’s legal
troubles has become likely the world’s largest public tracker, TorrentFreak
reported. Portlane now has 14 days to either appeal the ruling or identify the
customer operating the site to the court and U.S. movie studios who sued
Portlane, or else face a fine of over $63,000.
