London – SeeSaw, the U.K.
video-on-demand service based on the back end of the BBC’s failed Project
Kangaraoo, has added a number of premium content channels from partners
including the BBC, MTV, Comedy Central and Disney, Web TV Wire reports. SeeSaw
users can now pay between 99p and £1.19 ($1.43 and $1.72) to rent individual
episodes of shows like "Lost" and "Doctor Who," or between £3.99
and £17.99 ($5.75 and $26) for full
series.
