– Ogmento, a developer of augmented reality games that combine online games
with real-world elements, announced on Wednesday that it has raised $3.5
million in its first round of funding, led by Chart Venture Partners with
participation from CNF Investments.

Founded in 2009, New York-based Ogmento has
developed augmented reality games form clients including Penguin Publishing,
Orange Telecom and PBS.

The company will use the funds to expand development of
its game platform, as well as its operations in New York
and Los Angeles.
