Los Angeles – Internet
telephony service Skype says that it will not charge U.S. customers for calls made over 3G
networks through the end of 2010, although it intends to charge a "small
monthly fee" beginning next year, Wired.com reports. The company recently released
a new version of its iPhone app enabling calling over a 3G network, and said
Wednesday that the app has to date been downloaded nearly 5 million times.
