Los Angeles – Microsoft (NASD: MSFT)
introduced "Kinect," its new motion-sensing video game system for the
Xbox 360, at an event in Los Angeles
over the weekend, before the industry’s E3 Expo kicks off this week. CNET
News.com covered the preview event, which included a performance by Cirque du
Soleil, followed by a demonstration of the technology. The event saw actors
using body motions to control the action in a driving game, a "Star
Wars" title, a dancing game and a yoga application.
