Cupertino,
Calif. – Apple (NASD: AAPL) on Tuesday
released a free Apple Store application for the iPhone, which lets users place
a pre-order for the new iPhone 4, as well as purchase MacBooks and other
products available from the company’s retail stores. The app also features a
store locator, and the ability to schedule in-store reservations at the Genius
bar.
