Los Angeles – Web file-hosting service RapidShare has
launched a new service that lets users sell their own file downloads from the
company’s servers, starting at $87 per month, NewTeeVee reported. Users can
choose between five different service models, which are billed daily — so
plans can be swapped out day-to-day. The company has also done away with a
loyalty program that provided credits to uploaders of popular files, which some
had viewed as encouraging privacy.
