San Bruno, Calif. – Google’s (NASD: GOOG) YouTube this week announced
that it has partnered with local Bay Area ABC TV station on a citizen
journalism experiment. The ABC7 uReport powered by YouTube will see the station
utilize YouTube Direct to cull news footage shot by local residents, which will
be aired on TV, as well as the station’s website and YouTube channel.
