Stockholm, Sweden – Should Wikileaks, the website that
published 90,000 documents on the war in Afghanistan, be targeted for shutdown
by U.S. authorities, Sweden’s Pirate Party has offered to host the site,
TorrentFreak reports. The official political party recently announced it would
host file-sharing hub The Pirate Bay from within the halls of Sweden’s
Parliament. "We now help democracy activists in Iran, including
communication via anonymous servers. We provide bandwidth to our greatest
political opinion leaders, The Pirate Bay. If Wikileaks is attacked again, we
will immediately offer them both server space and bandwidth," the Pirate
Party’s Anna Troberg told TorrentFreak.
