Princeton, N.J. – Exclaim Mobility, a provider of
user-generated content sharing and social apps for mobile platforms, announced
on Tuesday that it has acquired Mobicious, an operator of mobile consumer
social media sites.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Mobicious’
properties include SnapMyLife.com, which counts 1.15 million users, and
Snap2Twitter, which helps users post their photos and other content to Twitter.
New Jersey-based Exclaim, whose Pictavision mobile content-sharing app counts
250,000 paid subscribers, said it will integrate the functionality of
SnapMyLife and Snap2Twitter into its existing premium client applications.
