San Francisco – Google Ventures has made and investment in
ngmoco, a developer of games for Apple’s (NASD: AAPL) iPhone and iPad platforms, TechCrunch
reported.

The investment is thought to be part of a new round of funding,
pegged in the $3-5 million range, and values the company at more than $100
million, according to TechCrunch’s sources.

Founded in 2008, San
Francisco-based ngmoco has previously raised about $40 million in financing.

It’s likely that with the investment from Google’s (NASD: GOOG) venture capital arm, ngmoco
will be developing games for the Android platform, as well.
