San Francisco – Federated Media Publishing, a blog and
advertising network, announced on Monday that it has acquired a platform for
semantic and linguistic profiling of Web-based content from TextDigger.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
San Jose, Calif.-based
TextDigger was founded in 2005 by Tim Musgrove, who will join FM as chief
scientist.
Founded in 2005, Federated Media is a top-50 Web property and top-5
social media property, according to comScore data, and features blog verticals
for business, style, food and parenting.
