Amsterdam – Billboard on Tuesday reported on the recent
launch of Shuffler, an Amsterdam-based music streaming service that focuses on
indie music and streams songs available on MP3 blogs, similar to The Hype
Machine. The service offers genre-based "stations," such as ‘lo-fi’,
‘experimental’ and ‘electronic,’ and serves streams from a frame at the top of
a page that displays the original blog post. The company hopes to soon include
songs from YouTube, SoundClound and Vimeo.
