London – Google’s (NASD: GOOG) YouTube plans to launch a free movie
streaming service in the U.K., offering some 400 titles through deals with Sony (NYSE: SNE)
Pictures and U.K. rental service Blinkbox, the Guardian reported. The company
launched a similar service in the U.S. in April, but the U.S. version is not
completely free — some films are available for streaming rental.
