Los Angeles – Video chat service Chatroulette has been
re-launched after a week-long period of downtime, but the new version appears
to both be somewhat unstable, and to not have addressed the issue of users’
exposure to unsolicited adult content, according to published reports. The new
version is inaccessible to users without a webcam, unlike previously. Reports all
indicated no reduction in the amount of adult content, with Mashable noting
"it took four full minutes of refreshing to get a screenshot without a
penis in it."
