Sunnyvale, Calif. – Yahoo (NASD: YHOO) announced on Friday that it has
partnered with European TV manufacturer Vestel Group, to deliver Yahoo
Connected TV services across Europe. Vestel and partner brands will begin
shipping TV sets, set-top boxes and other devices bundled with Yahoo’s
Internet-connected TV platform in the first quarter of 2011. Vestel’s products
account for 16% of the LCD TV market, and 25% of the set-top box market in
Europe.
