San Francisco – A full 3% of Twitter’s server infrastructure
is dedicated to pop singer Justin Bieber, according to a tweet from a Web designer
citing a source within the company, Mashable reported. "Every time Bieber
tweets, his messages have to be delivered to more than five million people who
then endlessly retweet it," Web designer Dustin Curtis added.
"Apparently, his account receives more than 60 @-replies per second for a
while after he tweets, which is something Twitter wasn’t originally designed to
handle."
