Berlin – IODA, a digital distributor of independent music
said on Thursday that it has partnered with Next Big Sound, a provider of
social media analytics for music. Under the deal, digital sales activity data
from online retailers will be integrated into Next Big Sound’s analytics
platform, allowing labels and artists to track plays, views, fans, comments and
other metrics across social media sites including Twitter, Facebook, MySpace,
Last.fm and YouTube.
