Los Angeles – Boxee, a developer of Web-to-TV video hardware
and software, on Monday began accepting pre-orders for its Boxee Box set-top,
through a deal between manufacturing partner D-Link and retailer Amazon.com.
The $199 device will feature Intel’s CE4100 Atom processor, and ship
simultaneously in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Australia beginning in November.
