New York – JetBlue Airways said on Wednesday that it has
signed a deal with ViaSat to install satellite-based broadband Internet and TV
services on all 160 of its aircraft, the Associated Press reported. The FAA
must still test and certify the service before it can begin to be deployed,
expected by the end of 2012. Current in-flight broadband services range in
price from about $5 to $13 per flight.
