New York – Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg will donate
$100 million to improve public schools in Newark, N.J., and plans to announce
the gift Friday on The Oprah Winfrey Show, according to reports. N.J. Gov.
Chris Christie will also reportedly "cede some control of the state-run
system to [Newark] Mayor Cory A. Booker in conjunction with the huge
gift," The New York Times reported.
