Espoo, Finland – Nokia (NYSE: NOK) and AT&T (NYSE: T) have launched a $10
million contest for developers in North America creating applications for its Ovi
Store.
The 2010 Calling All Innovators – North America contest will offer
developers creating applications and games for the Nokia N8 and future Nokia
devices a share of $4 million in cash prizes, with the sponsors to provide an
additional $6 million in marketing promotion.
The deadline to submit an app for
the contest in any of 17 content categories is Jan. 28, 2011.
