London – European online DVD rental service LOVEFiLM on Wednesday
announced a deal with Sony (NYSE: SNE) to make its content available for streaming to televisions
via PlayStation 3 video game consoles in the U.K. LOVEFiLM counts 1.4 million
subscribers, while the U.K. counts some 3 million PlayStation 3 installed
households.
