New York – Sirius XM Radio (NASD: SIRI) said on Wednesday that it added
334,000 net subscribers during the third quarter, and so far this year has
added over 1 million net subscribers — compared to a loss of 488,000 net
subscribers in the first three quarters of 2009.

Sirius XM added that its conversion
rate from trial subscriptions included in the sale of vehicles to self-pay
subscriptions improved to 48.1% in the third quarter, up from 46.2% in the same
period a year ago.

The company now expects to end the year with around 20.1
million subscribers, representing net additions of some 1.3 million subscribers
in 2010.
