Los Angeles – Sony (NYSE: SNE) said this week that Netflix (NASD: NFLX) subscribers
will soon be able to stream movies and TV shows from the service to their PlayStation
3 consoles without the need of a physical disc, with some titles becoming
available in 1080p HD and Dolby 5.1 surround sound. The new features are set to
become available on Oct. 18.
