Los Angeles – Harvard Law professor Charles Nesson has been
admitted to assist in the legal defense of Jammie Thomas-Rassett, whose third
trial on copyright infringement charges related to file-sharing is scheduled to
begin on Tuesday, the Recording Industry vs. The People blog reports. Nesson is also representing convicted file-swapper Joel
Tenenbaum; both cases are now in a stage where defendants have been convicted,
and the issue is how much they owe in damages.
