Boulder, Colo. – Gnip, a provider of social media data
monetization services, has raised $2 million in new financing, All Things D
reported, citing a regulatory filing.
Boulder, Colo.-based Gnip yesterday also
announced a lucrative deal to become the first authorized reseller of Twitter’s
"firehose" data stream.
That deal will see customers pay between
$5,000 per month for access to 10% of all tweets, and $30,000 per month for 50%
of tweets.
The company has now raised a total of $6.6 million to date.
