San Francisco – Federated Media Publishing, a publisher of
blogs and a corresponding ad network, announced on Thursday that it has
acquired Foodbuzz, a network of 4,400 food blogs that collectively count 14
million unique monthly users.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The network will be combined with existing FM food sites, including Serious
Eats and Bakerella.
San Francisco-based FM also recently acquired community
platform BigTent and semantic search firm TextDigger.
