Los Angeles – Time Warner’s (NYSE: TWX) Warner Bros. Pictures is investigating a
leak of the first 36 minutes of its "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows:
Part 1" onto file-sharing networks, a spokesman tells The Wall Street
Journal.

The studio is also working to have copies of the watermarked footage
removed from file-sharing networks.

"This constitutes a serious breach of copyright
violation and theft of Warner Bros. property," Warner Bros. told The
Journal, adding it will "prosecute those involved to the full extent of
the law."
