Palo Alto, Calif. – Nearly one in four views of Web pages in
the U.S. last week were on Facebook, which also accounted for 10% of all
Internet visits last week, according to a report from Experian Hitwise.
took 24.27% of all U.S. page views last week, compared to second-place
YouTube.com, which claimed 6.93%.
In March, Facebook’s website overtook
Google.com (NASD: GOOG) in terms of website visits.
Hitwise adds that Facebook.com traffic
has grown 60% from the same week a year ago.
