New York – Viacom (NYSE: VIA), whose networks include MTV and Comedy
Central, has blocked its programming from access by Google (NASD: GOOG) TV, joining fellow
networks ABC (NYSE: DIS), NBC (NYSE: GE) and CBS (NYSE: CBS).

"We’re blocking access to our full episode
content from Google TV’s Web browser.
We continue to evaluate Google TV to identify opportunities where it may
make sense to optimize our Web content for the platform," Viacom told
PaidContent.

The content was removed at some point earlier this year, and was
first reported on by GTVHub.
