New York – AdaptiveBlue, the developer of a social
"check-in" service for media consumption, has raised $6 million in
new funding, led by Time Warner Investments, TechCrunch reported, citing a
regulatory filing.

RRE Ventures and previous backer Union Square Ventures also
participated.

New York-based AdaptiveBlue’s GetGlue application for iPhone and
Android devices lets users "check-in" when watching a movie or TV
show, or reading a book, for example.

TechCrunch noted GetGlue says it is
registering 10 million monthly check-ins across 20 million pieces of content.
