San Francisco – trueAnthem, a social marketing firm that
offers brand-sponsored free music, video and other content, has raised $2.9
million in a first round of venture capital financing, VentureBeat reported,
citing a regulatory filing.
Founded in 2010, San Francisco-based trueAnthem
offers a brand-able social media player that can distribute music, video and
other free content to consumers.
Clients have included Adidas, Levi’s, Ubisoft
and Coinstar.
