Seattle – Korrio, the developer of a sports automation
platform, said on Thursday that it has raised $3.3 million in its first round
of funding, from Ignition Partners and private investors.

Seattle-based Korrio
launched its Playflow platform earlier this month, which it says integrates
Web, mobile and social networking elements so that club administrators and
coaches can manage club and team operations.

The platform manages registration
and payment, team formation, rosters, scheduling, communications and Web
hosting.

The company will use the funds to expand the reach of its platform in
a variety of organized sports.
