New York – Tremor Media, the operator of an online video ad
network, has acquired mobile video ad platform Traspera, TechCrunch reported.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
San Francisco-based Transpera
was founded in 2007, and to date has raised over $17 million in venture capital
financing, from backers including Flybridge Capital Partners, Intel Capital,
First Round Capital and Labrador Ventures.
Transpera customers include MTV, CBS
News, MSNBC.com and Discovery. New York-based Tremor’s video ad network served
a billion views in December.
